I took the Timezone changes one step further
First off, David, I appreciate the timezone change that you made. The people in the locations in the other timezones finally quit complaining 8) Your changes were great, but not exactly what I wanted. I took the little knowledge that I have gained from this In/Out Board in ASP/VBScript and made a fe...

I Modified the "Modify/Delete Event" page
Currently you can only view the whole list of events (from multiple users) if you were an admin. I wanted my normal viewers to be able to see a list of all the future events as well, but to only be able to modify/delete their own events. I modified the fevent_eddel.asp page to do so. In this file at...

John. If you actually take a look at the url it that it goes back to it goes to Davids realtime news setup. This is the url it tracks to: http://www.g2soft.net/news/pentacle/pentaclenews.htm That HTML file looks to be a summary file that summarizes the information on this page: http://www.g2soft.net...

It is unfortunate that those who have different DST policies than the server will have to suffer. But that should be good enough reason for them to get on to the DST bandwagon  At any rate, just having the time zone differences is a step towards a better program. One thing that a user could...

Yeah, that is what I was also thinking. It wouldn't be so bad if you Canadians didn't have to be so difficult :P . I will think about it tonight to see if I can come up with any solutions. Do you know how the people that wrote this message board (phpBB) do it. Maybe we could model a solution off of ...

I think the only issues you will see are from those that do not observe daylight savings. Which from your article shows that Saskatchewan doesn't. I would assume other countries/provinces/stats around the world might not as well. You should not have any issues with DST in those states that do on the...

Making entire news article available for visitors
My users wanted to make the entire news articles available for the visitors. Currently they can only see the small snippet at the bottom in the news section. I thought I could share my solution with the rest. I created a new file for the news details that did not require the user to be logged in. Th...

Typos/Grammatics
I am going to start a thread that we can always come back to and list any typos or grammatical errors. This will cut down on having so many threads about simple content errors. I'll Start: In admin_user_a.asp Behind "Email" there is an extra colon " : " Also there is a missing co...

You actually can go in and edit the other employees when you are an admin. Simply click on the employees name (as an admin all employee names are underlined, as a normal user only your own name is underlined) and you can change their status. Go to the demo and login as james he is an admin: http://p...

Sorry to double post, but do you think you could include some more changes in your next relsease. These changes will change any link to default.asp so no matter where you click to get to default.asp it will take you to your default location and group. Right now with release 5.12.0.0018 you are only ...
