Change Date to dd/mm/yy ?

Post by andyw »

Is there a way to change from the default to the dd/mm/yy format ? I've searched this forum and found no solution.
I have installed v10.03.0.2812

Thanks

Every language have different technique (Syntax) to change the date format. Can you tell me the language you are working on.

Yes, FrankHolcomb is right. Unless you specify the language/platform you're working on, no one can suggest you the correct syntax.

You can convert text dates by using the DATEVALUE function. To convert a text date to a serial number, you should use the DATEVALUE function. Then copy the formula, select the cells that contain the text dates, and use Paste Special to apply the date format to them.
